Red Hill Water Crisis

In 2021, more than 20,000 gallons of jet fuel from the U.S. Navy’s Red Hill facility leaked into Oʻahu’s water supply — poisoning the taps of thousands of families. This project documents the human toll of the Red Hill water contamination through the voices of those who lived it. Families, children, and communities still bearing the weight of invisible toxins share their stories of survival, accountability, and resilience.
